The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are for northerly winds, moderate to strong prevailing. Increasing haze and cloudiness and milder, but the night will probably be very cold. The barometer has a falling tendency. Sea. and tides moderate.
