ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
BOV KILLED BY MOTOR VAN. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, Aug. 9. 1 Allan Francis Schaab, aged seven, was knocked down and killed by a motor van in Princess Street this morning. He and an older brother were running • n message, when the latter engaged in a fight with other youths, and deceased crossed the road to his brother, with the above- result. DENTIST LOSES HIS LIFE. WANGANUI, Aug. 11. Bryan Felton Dalton, married, about 40, a dentist of Palmerston North., met with a fatal accident at about 4.18 this morning, when leaving here for home in a motor-car. He was proceeding along Taupo Quay in a Buick three. seater, when by some means the car ran on the footpath and struck an iron verandah jiost. Dalton evidently jumped out of the car, as he Avas found lying face downward on the footpath, with the heavy post across the back .of Ins head, which was badly .smashed.
