Major-General Sir David Bruce, president of the British Association, at Toronto, said that the countries throughout the world will have to make a business of stamping out disease. In many cases it wa sonly a matter cf research, and therefore of men and money. Mr Horace Lamb, professor of mathematics at Trinity College, Cambridge, was elected president for 1925. Next year’s convention will lie held at Southampton, England.—Reuter.
