A big rally in support of the farmers’ candidate in the Kaponga Queen Carnival is announced, for to-morrow. A concert programme will be contributed by the school pupils in the Convent School during the afternoon. In the evening a concert, social and dance is being arranged. The evening concert programme will include the humorous sketch “Baggy Breeches,’’ rendered in costume by Master Jury and Miss Sheahan, of Stratford. Other firstclass items will also he presented. Another interesting feature is promised in the Swiss national dances.
