MANAIA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Great interest is taken in the Manaia Hibernian annual ball, which is to be held in the Manaia Town Hall on Wednesday night. The various committees are working hard to make this year’s function a special feature and will eclipse all previous efforts. A splendid floor, supper and music will be provided. The proceeds of the ball will be given towards the new Convent school. A record attendance is expected. p.% tickets are selling rapidly.
