SHEEPSKIN SALES. SY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Julv 26, 11.10 a.m. LONDON, July 25. At the sheepskin sales 4700 were offered. There was a fair demand for the Home trade, hut many were withdrawn owing to the high limits. Full woolled merinos and come-backs were generally five per cent, below May prices., \Shorter merinos were firm,, and medium and coarse crossbred combings were unchanged. Crossbred, clothings and pelts were slightly dearer. — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office under date July 23 : Tallow—There is a good demand, and prices have advanced 6d per cwt. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 23rd instant: Eight hundred and forty-five casks of tallow offered; 710 sold. Mutton tallow— Since our last wire prices are 6d per cwt higher. Good colour beef and mixed prices unchanged; other descriptions unchanged to 6d higher. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 23rd instant: Tallow —We quote present spot values for the following descriptions: Fine mutton 45s 9d per cwt, good beef 43? 9d, mixed 38s 9d ; market firm.
