A considerable quantity ot butter and cheese was unsold at balancing date, apd this has been taken into stock at what was considered a safe figure. Butter working account. —Supplier* have been advanced as follows: June, July, August Is od, September Is 6d, Ist October to 31st May, an average ol 15.14 d ner lb butter-fat. A further payment of 2d per lb on butter-fat supplied from October 1 to May 31 was paid on .July 19. Further payments will be made as stock is realised on, when it is anticipated at least a further penny per lb will be available.
Cheese working account. —Supplies have been advanced an average of 15.43 d per lb butter-lat for the season. A further payment of Id per 11) was paid on July 19 and other payments as stock is realised on.
At the request of the Skinner Road suppliers, a casein precipitating plant was erected at Skinner Road creamery. A detailed account of the- operations is submitted herewith. Suppliers have been paid an average advance of 1,32 d per li> butter-fat. The Casein Company advise that there is still a con siderable quantity of casein to be disposed of. and accounts cannot be finalised until this has been accomplished. In view of the decreasing supplies, it has bean decided to close down Makuri creamery, and since closing the books the site and builidng have been disnosed of.
The retiring directors are Messrs L. E. Hann. G. A. Harris im\, and R. R-. Binnie, who are eligible and offer themselves for re-election. Mr T. H. Penn again offers his services as auditor.
