Tim Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the 24 hours from 9 a m. to-day the indications are for southerly moderate to strong winds, squally at times. The weather will probably prove cold and showery, but should improve. The barometer has a rising tendency. Sear, considerable; tides moderate.
