After a chase extending over hundreds of miles, an aboriginal who was committed for trial on a charge of murder has been captured. He had evaded capture for many months. Constable Giles set out after him, with no provisions or swag, accompanied by a black boy. . When his clothing was worn out the constable proceeded naked with his skin blackened like the natives.
