OLD GIRLS’ AND OLD BOYS’ ASSOCIATIONS. r set *ond annual reunion dance was held in the Foresters’ Hall last evenmg when a large number of old pupils and. .friends ol the school were once more gathered together. The floor was in excellent condition, and over 70 couples participated in the dancing some coming as far as from Auckland, \\ mtara Tvaponga, Eltham, and Stratford. The M.C.’s were Messrs R. Morrissey and D. Burgess, and the joint secretaries Miss D. Oar nett' and Mr. ix. Martin The colour schemes in the dance hall, supper room and louime were very tastefuly and effectively earned out. The scheme of orange and blue in the lounge, and that of and " r h>te in the supper room were devised and carried out by the secretaries of the associations. Much of the success of the function was due to the willing spirit of the ladies assisting, who, together with members of the association committees, left no stone unturned to make the function the success that it was. An excellent supper was provided bv the caterers, Mesdames Hobbs and King, who were assisted in the supper room by Mesdames Death. Shaw, Tait, Buckeridge, and Miss Harvey’ Many thanks are due to these ladies for the hearty manner in which thev assisted the association. During the evening excellent music was supplied by Mr McDonald’s orchestra. Thanks are due also to Mrs Cook for a very much appreciated donation of sweets, and to Mi's Shaw for a gift of soft drinks.
