EXPRESS HELD fl>. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.). WELLINGTON, July 24. The- derailment of a. van on a goods train at Pukerua yesterday delayed the Napier express some time. The goods train had been switched on to a siding to make way for the express, but the end of the van was not quite dear of the main line, and the express locomotive struck it. The van w-as tilted over so that the line was blocked, borne damage w-as also done to the engine, necessitating the despatch of another locomotive from Paekakariki to take the express on.
