CAIIGO HATES DECLINE. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPiTBIGHT LONDON, July 19. Cargoes are inactive and have declined sixpence to a shilling. Parcels are slow. Trade in Manitobas declined sixpence to ninpence, but the closing tone was firm.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. DAIRY PRODUCE. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 17th instant: Butter—Market quiet. We quote: New Zealand, salted 188 s (188 s), exceptional brands 192 s (1925): Danish, 20-is (2045); finest Australian, salted 184 s (1925), unsalted 194 s (1945). Total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for June to 412,000 c wt, as compared with 485,000 cwt for corresponding month last year. Cheese—Market quiet; white 92s (945), coloured 88s (925), Canadian c.i.f. quotation 90s (925). Last week’s quotations given in parentheses.

Limited demand for New Zealand mutton; prices nominal. Beef—Spot price for chilled beef sides, 3-|d. Australian frozen meat —Not quoted.
