SOUTHERN REPS. SELECTED. An interesting series of trial games, showing players representing the different groups of South Taranaki primaiy schools, took place at Kaponga. on Saturday. Over fifty keen • young took part, and the exhibition afforded augurs well for the future ot the game in the province. On the conclusion of several interesting displays, a possibles v, probables game was contested, after which Messrs. R. E. Thomas (Stratford) and F. W Mason (Pihama Selected the following team to represent the South Taranaki primary schools in the forthcoming match against the North Taranaki primary schools: Full-back, Chard (Wharehuia); three-quarters Greenbanks v H'awera), rrye (Opunake), Ballantyne (Normanby); five—eighths, Collins (Strattord), Robmson (Opunake); half, James (Tokaora); wing forward, Hamblyn (AA harehuia); forwards, Young (Stratford), Preston (Norman! by) Eaves (Okmawa), Butcher (StratSf 1 )’ , C ?" l ard (Stratford), -Nicholas (Mangatoki), R.udings (Stratford).
