TRAINING BOYS. SHEEPOWNERS’ SCHEME. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESF ASSOCIATION.) MARTON, July 18. The Governor-General (Viscount Jellieoe) to-day officially opened Flock House, where twenty-five sons of British seamen killed or wounded in the Great War are being trained in farming under a’scheme of sheepowners’ acknowledgment of debt to the British Seamen’s Fund. Viscount .Tellieoe stated that ■ two things struck him; firstly, the spirit of generosity which brought the fund into being; and, secondly, the fact, that during the slump the low prices Avhicli obtained did not prevent the 2(100 sheepowners from supporting the fund. The Hon. W. Nosworthv (Minister for Immigration) stated that the Department would assist the work in every possible way.
