BUSINESS NOTICES.
Smith and Easton will hold their usual sale of fruit, furniture and produce to-morrow at. 2 p.m., full particulars of which will be found elsewhere in this issue. Special attention is drawn to an advertisement appearing in this issue of a sale of Taranaki dairy heifers to be held in the I arniers’ Co-op. saleyards, Waverlev, on Friday, 25th inst., on behalf of Messrs Robert Bremer, Sons and Co. These heifers have been very carefully selected as calves, and are out of herds returning 3001 b. per head, and are undoubtedly one of the best lines offered on the West Coast this season. Tins should surely r be an opportunity which should commend itself tojliose who wish to purchase dairy stock which will increase their butter-fat production. The Farmers’ Co-op. wish to draw the attention of dairymen to the sale at Auroa Yards next Friday’, 18th inst., on account of Mr Dave Campbell. The bulk of these cows came as heifers from Messrs Mellardy, Pettigrew and other well-known breeders, so that the herd to-day is made up of nearly all grade Jersevs of outstanding quality. They' headed the list at the factory' on testing davs, and we confidently' recommend this herd to prospective buy'ors. To-morrow (Thursday) at 1.15 p.m. R. P. Morrisso.v and Co. will sell by' public, .auction household furniture and sundries.
