SALE TO G. SYME AND CO. CBY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WHAKATANE, July 12. A block of timber country, comprising 9579. acres at Matahina, was sold by the natives yesterday to G. Syme and Co., of Hawera, the purchase price being £4 an acre. Matahina is situated about twenty miles from the town of Whakatane.
