THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. to-dav the indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale and backing by west to south. The weather appears likely to he cloudy and unsettled. Rain probale. The' barometer has a falling tendency. Seas heavy; tides good.
