SNEAK THIEVES IN WELLINGTON (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, July 12. Sneak thieving has been prevalent in the suburbs lately. Yesterda-v several houses at Oriental Bay were entered during the occupiers’ absence, and articles, such as jewellery, were stolen. The thieves’ attention ’ seems to be confined to small A’aluables and easily transported goods.
