PROFESSIONAL MISCONDUCT, (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON,' July 10. The Court of Appeal suspended Andrew Paterson, of Pukekohe, barrister and solicitor, from practice for one year for professional misconduct. The Court also unanimously dismissed the appeal of Henry Edward Lyons against a sentence of five years' imprisonment with hard labour imposed by Mr Justice Adams at Christchurch for indecent assault on a girl six years of age. The Court adjourned till the first sitting in 1925 an application of the New Zealand Law Society to strike George William MePaul, of Wanganui, off the roll of solicitors for professional misconduct, suspending McCaul in the meantime.
