JOY RIDERS.
SENT TO GAOL. (BY TELEGRAM? —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, July 8. Thornton Scott was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment, and Samuel Robert Smith to three months’ imprisonment, by the magistrate to-day for “joy-riding” in a motor-car taken from outside an hotel.
