OPERA HOUSE TO-NIGHT. ' “LITTLE JOHHNY JONES.” The audience went into shrieks- of laughter last night over the antics of Johnny Hines in the Master Picture “Little Johnny Jones.” The story is about Johnny Jones, an American jockey, who never fails to bring his horse first to the winning line. He comes to England! to win the Derby and a bride at the same time. Robert Anstead, a. professional gambler, out to. get the race by fair means or foul, decided, to v/)0 Johnny Jones' sweetheart by, maligning the character of his rival, and lie proves marvellously cunning in his schemes. It would be unfair to give away, the plot of this exciting Master Picture, and thus rob you of several hours 5 suspense, but there is not one dull moment. Brownie, the wonder dog, is shown in this picture and lives up to his reputation of being the most, intelligent dog living. This picture can be recommended to anybody desiring a good laugh. Larry Semon> one of the foremost comedians on the screen, is seen in “No Wedding Bells,” a comedy that would make the Sphinx laugh. There is also on the programme a Pathe Gazette and a special film showing the entrance of the Eleet into Sydney harbour, Fleet Week in Sydney, and the sinking of the Australian flagship, the H.M.A.S. Australia, in accordance with the Washington Treaty. The programme will be screened for the last time to-night.
