RAILWAY WORKERS.

HOMES TO BE BUILT AT HAAVERA. Messrs J. Mcllroy and Curry, of the New Zealand Railways Architectural Branch, Franklin,' have been in Hawera during the last few days, pegging out the sites for the railway workers’ homes on ground recently acquired for the purpose on the Turuturu Road. They state that building operations may be commenced within a few weeks. The Department expects to erect about sixteen cottages.
