ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
MISTAKEN IDENTITY. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.! AUCKLAND, July 2. . On March 28 a man known as Patrick Ryan was killed in a motor accident at Penrose, and lie was identified and buried under that name. The police have since ascertained that the man’s name was Patrick Joseph Doherty. The inquest was reopened to-day, and after hearing evidence the coroner said there was now no doubt of the deceased’s identity, and amended the depositions accordingly.
