TORNADO

A telegram from Cleveland says that reeheck -of the casualties in Saturday s tornado show that there are probably 100 fatalities. . Lorain had 59 dead and 120 injured, shire5 hire 100 city blocks were demolished. o/Vr,^i ama^e estimated at unwards of 30,000,000 dollars. The State’s Theatre, a four-storey building, partly collapsed during a cinema performance, crushing many of the audience. . In Sandusky six were killed and 100 " p!aced _ In seven were killed, in Pittsburg five, and in Natau (Ohio) three. The damage in the rural regions probably aggregates 50,000,000 dollars. Fears for the safetv of steamers are unfounded, except in the case of a launch, which was crushed against a barge. The crew of 35 scrambled to safety. > ■
