A. surprise paftyy consisting of l ovesj 40 friends, paid a visit to the honie-or Air and .Mrs T. McPhillips last -Thursday night to give them a fiarewell evening. A iolly evening was spent. Mr -MbPhillips / welcomed the visitors, and expressed great pleasure on behalf ,of Airs McPhillips, self and. family to see so many friends present, arid, wished all a pleasant evening. The time was spent in dancing, cards, recitations, reel and soiigs. The following .contributed items: Vocal items by Alessrs AAv J. AlcDonald,; B.
