Extraordinary precautions were taken to prevent the recurrence of the untoward incidents of 1922-23. The first formal session will be on July 7, at which the House will record opposition of a discriminatory nature to the American Immigration' Act as a violation of the principles of justice and international equality, impairing the long Americo-Japanese friendship, and will call on the Government to take prompt and necessary steps to remedy the situation.—Reuter.
