FIRE AT NORMANBY.
METHODIST SUNDAY SCHOOL DESTROYED. Our Normanby correspondent telephones : A fire broke out at about 10 o’clock this morning and resulted in the total destruction of the Normanby Methodist Sunday School, which was situated at the rear of the church. Fortunately there was very little wind blowing, and by the strenuous efforts of the bucket brigade the fire was prevented from spreading to the church and Mr, Slinger’s shed adjoining. It is not known if the building was insured. The whole of the fittings and contents of the building were destroyed.
