FRANCE BUYING FROM THE ARGENTINE. BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT PARIS, June 27. Reuter’s correspondent says that M. Le. Breton, Argentine Minister of Agriculture, returning from a visit to France, said he was satisfied with the visit. He had several conversations with the French Minister of Agriculture and other members of the Government who, with the object of helping to reduce the cost of living, decided in every way to facilitate the importation of frozen meat from the Argentine. The first important consignment would be despatched immediately to France, where all measures would bei taken to increase the consumption of frozen meat. SMITHFIELD PRICES.
