ROWE STREET.
(To the Editor). : . i ."'ish to raise a protest on benaif of those who, like myself, make u&e Rowe Street. I understand that onr Borough Council has given the Winter Show authorities nermission to shut- off traffic of every description from rc iL- r °i for the Winter Show Week, it this be true, then I think the council has not acted as good trustees of the public rights. Rowe Street, carries a very large amount of traffic. If is the outlet for all those residents of Erin Street and its side streets who desire to do business in the south end of Princes, Regent, Milmoe and Victoria greets. No doubt I will be told that the show ought to be helped and encouraged, but I hold to give it such a concession as this is not fair to the general body of ratepayers,—l am etc L.' A. TATLiTR.
