ENTERTAINMENTS
OPERA HOUSE, TO-NIGHT. ‘’THE AGE OF DESIRE.” The programme commencing at the Opera House this evening consists of a fine feature, and a good varietv of supports. The main feature is “The Age of Desire,” a First National production, starling Alary Philbin of “Merry-Go-Round” fame, and Myrtle Stedman Frank Borzage,-who directed ‘‘Humoresque/’ is the director. The story tells of a woman who, in order to marry a rich man, left her child and posed as a single woman. She -duly married the man, and although she had everything that wealth could bring, the years made her yearn for her son again. .She advertised, and tried aIL manner of means to locate him. How she eventually met him again makes ; one of the most unusual, climaxes on the screen. The settings are lavish, and the attention to the merest detail reflects great credit on the producer. The supports are'many and varied, and golf enthusiasts will see America’s champions in action.- A matinee will he given to-morrow afternoon.
