CHRISTCHURCH SITTINGS. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS' ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH June 24. A motion fiy Air. AI. J. Gresson for a non suit or for a new trial in the “Danthonia ease” it lias been agreed should he referred to the Full Court, but Air. Gresson announced to-day that it was not intended to proceed with the motion. Judgment will lie entered for plaintiff for the amount of the jury’s verdict. A. AI. AtcFarlane, who claimed £4OOO damages, was awarded £SOO, and R. K. AlcKandless. who claimed £1913 10s, was awarded £526. The defendant. Norman Rutherford. ATendip Hills, will pay costs, which will he very lienvv.
