CALL FROM STEAMER. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. RANGOON, June 21. The steamer Leicestershire reports that it received the S.O.S, signal from the steamer Clan MacMillan stating that she was sinking thirty miles east, of Table Island, 170 miles from the Andaman Islands, in the Indian Ocean. The Leicestershire steamed to the position indicated, but saw no sign, of the Clan MacMillan or her .boats, but she is continuing the search. A report from the Andamans states the boats hare been sighted off the islands. Later. The report that- the Can MacMillan’s boats were seen off the Andamans was untrue. The latest message from the Leicestershire says there is no trace of the ship or the boats.
