VANCOU VER ELECTIONS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT VANCOUVER, June 21. 10-day’s provincial elections resulted m the return of 19 Liberals, 15 Conservatives, 3 Labour, 3 Provincials, and 2 Independents. Six seats are' doubtful. A plebiscite was taken at the same time on the proposed sale of beer by the glass. This was apparently defeated in Vancouver and Victoria, while other cities voted' decisively against it. BRITISH SQUADRON. r VANCOUVER, June 22. The British squadron entered Victoria, harbour early yesterday morning, led by the Hood and the Repulse. The leather was glorious and great crowds gathered along the shoreline and on board steamers and gave a demonstrative welcome, official functions following. LONG SENTENCES. DELHI, June 20.
