TOWN IMPROVEMENTS.

MESSRS S. HART AND CO. The old-etsablished and enterprising arm of Messrs S. Hart and Co. have now seen completed and are enjoping ime benefit of rebuilding of their business premises in Upper High Street. Ihe new building has greatly improved the appearance of this portion of the business quarter of the town. The fine show windows, with a frontage of close upon 30ft., enables the firm to make a display in keeping with the standing ot the establishment. Under the old conditions this was not possible, and large as was the turnover previously, this should be greatly augmented bv the attractive array of goods now displayed to the passer-by. It has frequently been the case that visitors to the town have commented favourably upon the fine displays made by the retail establishment sin Hawera, and of recent months it must have been apparent to the most casual observer that there has been a considerable augmentation of the attractive shop frontages k) i Hawera. It has been very noticeable in Union Street, and the latest addition now under notice emphasises the fact to which we have drawn attention. We should also mention that within the establishment an equally great improvement has been wrought, enabling the large and varied stocks to be displayed and dealt with to the mutual advantage of the buyer and seller. No doubt Messrs Hart and Co. will reap the benefit of their enterprise.
