A MAN MTSSING. (BY TELEGRAPH —PPWBS ASSOCIATION 'l . . TAIHAPE, June 20. John Gilliard. a roadman, single, and about thirty years of age, is missing at Moawhango, near Taihape. and is believed to be drowned in the Moawhango River, which is in high flood, cearch parties are engaged, but so far without success. Gilliard is believed to have a father and brother at Ashburton and a brother at Kawakawa. FOUND DEAD. ASHBURTON, June 19. formerly a. local flourmiller, was found dead in his house to-day The cause of death is unknown. SUDDEiN COLLAPSE. PALMERSTON N., June 20. Shortly before noon to-dav Norman Daysh .aged 40, a resident of Palmerston. Norths suddenly collapsed while talkmg to some friends in front of a milking machine exhibit in the machinery hall at the National Dairy Show and died within a few minutes. Deceased was a- married man, and patentee of a well-known milking plant, and, it was stated, recently returned from a visit to America. He is a son of Henry Daysh, of Martinborough district.
