PREFERENCE.
SUPPORT BY MR LLOYD GEORGE. UNTRAVELLED LABOURITES. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT, Received June 20, 12.20 p.m. LONDON, June 19. Mr Lloyd George’s support of four preference resolutions is causing much comment, and it is regarded as heralding changes in the political atmosphere. Some Labourites are pressing Parliament to vote money to enable Ministers and others to visit the Dominions and colonies during the recess. It is felt that untravelled members, particularly Labourites, lack the firsthand knowledge necessary to deal with Imperial questions.—Sydney Sun Cables.
