He protested his innocence to the last and declared that he w’as meeting death fearlessly.—Reuter. [(Mrs. Reaney, the murdered woman, whose name was first given as Mrs. Gosling, was found with her head battered in a Bradford house. The woman’s first husband, Reaney, deserted her 25 years ago. He died in Australia and left his widow a moderate legacy. Believing that he had died _ earlier, -she became bigamously married to Gosling. Both husbands died in 1920.]
