CBY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.') PAHIATUA, June 18. Mr Ransom, M.P., delivered a presessional address last night, the Mayor presiding. The address contained lengthy criticism of the Government policy and various matters. Mr. Ransom was accorded a vote of thanks, the mover remarking that a presessional address was unusual, and in Pahiatua it was a novelty. PALMERSTON N., June 18. At the Police Court Albert William Murray pleaded guilty to the theft of a bag of carpenters’ tools in March, 1921, and was committed to the Supreme Court, Wellington, for sentence.
