Shipments of New Zealand produce arrived last week per s.s. Mnimoa and Hertford, and this week per s.s. Waiwera. Wool. The financial crisis in Germany retards business, and quotations are unchanged. The Bank of New Zealand produce department has received the following advice from its London office under date June 13 : Butter.—Steady; 174 s to 176 s per cwt. Cheese.—Finn. Fresh-landed, good condition. Coloured 92s per cwt ; do. white, 92s to 945; bold cheese. 2s to 4s per cwt less. Frozen Meat.—Wethers are in poor demand, and there is very little inquiry for ewes. The immediate future prospects for ox beef depend on supplies from Argentine. There is a fair demand for cow beef.
