r AIONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Plunket Society was held in the Plunket Rooms on Friday. Present: Mesdames Goodson (chair), Jobson, Godfrey, Davcv, bmarJo YVinks, Rawson, Hunter, Campbell, Haggett, Bone and Misses Corrigan and King (secretary. Apologies were received from Mesdames Fov.Poland Goring. The Nurse’s report was read, and adopted, showing new cases 72, mothers ana children to rooms Oil nurse’s visits to* homes 351.
A letter was received from (he County Council with a contribution of !•> enclosed. The committee are ver*gi'ntefii] for the help. The committee then discussed the arrangements tor the hoop-la stand amt bran tubs at the coming Winter Show Contributions for the bran tubs will be vc ! ?' acceptable, as many hundreds of a Hides are required for an occasion like the Winter Show.
