WHY BRITISH CHARGE D’AFFAIRS WAS EXPELLED. 8? CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT MEXICO CITY, June 15. The Foreign Office has issued a strongly-worded statement of the reasons for the expulsion from Mexico of Sir Herbert Cummins, British Charge d’Affairs. It asserts that Sir H. Cummins for years has been persona non grata with, the Mexican Government, which openly accuses him of lack of respect and courtesy, and even with wilfully incorrect statements to his Government in. reporting local incidents.
