NOT BRITISH
MR. MASSEY’S COMPLAINT. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received June 16, 9.25 a.m. LONDON, June 15. Mr Massey’s protest against the issue of pieference certificates on goods not wholly of British manufacture has attracted much attention, and manufacturers are inquiring whether reforms are possible. Motor-car manufacturers pome out that the tightening of the conditions of issue would benefit British trade by shutting out Canadian cars partly manufactured in America. Ibis is a matter about which firms declare that Australia is also interested. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
