NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
To-morrow there will be launched the twenty-second of these famous national events. The indications are exceedingly promising, all space being taken up, competitive classes overflowing. Football matches and other ring events aie well provided for, and in addition something in the way of entertainment each evening of the show. There will be football each day of the show, from Wednesday till Saturday, including a soccer match Manawatu versus Wellington on the Friday. There are three other very good Rugby matches scheduled, two of them being secondary •school games. Something novel in the way of evening entertainment will he the singing ol some 1500 primary school children on Friday evening next. His Excellency the Governor-General, the Hon. Mr. Massey, and other Ministers and members of Parliament are dated to be present on Thursday, 19th inst. Every day is provided for in the way ot amusement- and entertainment, and no listless time need be -spent.
