(1 rom Our Own Correspondent). HALL SOCIALS. Ihe popularity of'the above functions is being well maintained, a large number being present on I<riduv evening last Winners of the progressive rj 6 rs H. Harrison and Mr Hoskin. An excellent supper, provided bv the committee, was followed by an enjoyable dance, music for which was supplied by Mr K. Sharp. Fxtras were plaved by Mrs G. Harrison and Miss Mabel Guy. Friday evenings not being suitable for _ the occasion, the committee: has decided to revert to Tuesdays, and the next hall social will be held on Tuesday next. TENXIS CLUB BALL. A reminder is given of the ball which is to be held to-night (Friday). The committee in charge is snaring no effort to provide for the enjoyment of the large number expected. The floor is receiving special preparation, and this, romoinod with orchestral music, should appeal to all lovers of a good dance.
