KILLED BY A BALAST TRAIN. ASHBURTON. .Tune 14. Alfred Dalby, aged 4.j. a. married man vvith several children living in Christchurch, was ran over by a ballast train in a shingle pit at Winslow this mornmg, and killed instantly. He was employed as a casual labourer bv the Department.
