PLANT FOR AUSTRALIA. TIME NOT OPPORTUNE. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT OTTAWA, June 12. A telegram from "Windsor says that the Australian Press Association has been informed on excellent authority that the Ford interests have not abandoned the original plans to establish a plant in Australia, and while the manufacture of cars will probably not bo undertaken in Australia for some time to come, attention will be concentrated, upon the assemblage of parts an c ] the possible facilitation of bodies, in order to avoid tlie high Australan duties thereon, and give the Ford interests desirable concentration at a point from which to ship cars to India and the Far East most economically. It is understood that Mr. H. C.
