MEXICO.

BREAK WITH BRITAIN. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT MEXICO, June 12. Mexico has severed relations with Britain, by ordering the expulsion of Mr. Gordon Cummins, the British Charge d’Affaires, who is now hidden in the British.'Legation, which is surrounded by the police, who are waiting an opportunity to convey a formal notice of expulsion. Expulsion was caused by friction between the British and Mexican Governments, and by a number of letters written by Mr. Cummins to friends in England, in which he used terms of description that injured the dignity of Mexico. Officials gained access to these letters and gathered other proofs purporting to show that Mr. Cummins had continued to create friction between the Governments.
