The leaders were hoping for assistance from the electrical union, which to-day failed to persuade the companies to consider a. demand for increased wages. The _ electrical shop stewards threaten to declare an official strike, bringing out the workers at the power ■completely stopping underground work. —-Sydney Sun Cables. : LONDON, June 11. ihe Underground Railway management has warned the strikers to return before the 13th, or otherwise they will be dismissed and steps will be taken against them for striking without proper notice.
