The weather which has been experienced in this district during the .-past week has been most favourable Hoc shearing. A number of waggon loads of wool arrived in Hastings "to-day from Maraekakaho and Manwhere shearing operations are da full swing. The Sydney ("ash Drapery Co advertise that for this week they are offering about 250 warehousemen's samples of ladies shirt blouses, skirts, costumes, etc. Mr F. Cassin calls attention to some sections on the Joll estate which he has for sale. One of these is a corner section and as it is the wily corner for sale in this popular locality anyone wishing to purchase it should lose no time in making inuqpiiries.
