Received July t>, 1.5 a.m Sydney, July 5 The tobacco workers' strike continues. At a conference between the strikers and the management, the latter refused to discharge the girls, and the strikers declined to resume if the girls are retained. A meeting of the Tobacco Employees' Union tomorrow will consider the situation. In the meantime, tho Tobacco Company state that there is plenty of labour offering to supply the places of the strikers.
